Rutba Word is now Documents, and Presentation is Presentations
Since Rutba Office 1.29.0 the word processor is called Documents and the slides app Presentations, so their names match Worksheets, Contacts and Pictures. Pinned icons, default apps and file icons carry on working after the update.

Two of the nine apps in Rutba Office have new names. Rutba Word is now Documents, and Presentation is now Presentations. The change came in 1.29.0 on 6 October, and every release since carries it.
The other apps were already named after what they hold: Worksheets, Contacts and Pictures. The two odd ones out now follow them. Mail and Calendar stay singular, because each is the one place where everything of its kind lives and every platform calls them that. Image and Video keep their names for now.

What carries on working
Windows files each app under a key, and the keys did not change. Only the names you read did. So after the update:
- A Rutba Word pinned to the taskbar opens Documents.
- A
.docxor.pptxopens in the same app as before and wears the same icon. - If Rutba Office was your default for documents or decks, it still is.
- A window opened from a file is the same window it always was.
What changed is everything a person reads: the window titles, the launcher, the Apps menu, the names on the taskbar and the installer’s descriptions. The launcher’s New button now names what it makes, “New document”, “New workbook” or “New presentation”.
One list of names
The rename also turned up a small fault worth fixing. The Apps menu, and the sentence a window says when it is handed the wrong kind of file, each kept their own copy of the names. A name could be changed in one place and stay old in another. They read the suite’s one list now, and a test pins all nine names and the keys under them, so a future rename cannot leave a shortcut pointing nowhere.
The same three days brought eleven more releases after the rename. Twelve releases in three days goes through them app by app.
