The MRP run reads real stock and real orders
Time-phased, regenerative, netting against what is actually on the shelf and what is actually on order. Planned orders carry pegging, so a planner can see which demand caused which suggestion rather than trusting that one did.
Bills carry versions, effectivity and a release
What the floor builds is pinned when the work order is released. A revision after that is a new version with a date, not a silent change to what is already being built.
The bench reports itself
An operator clocks on by PIN, takes the dispatch list for their work centre, starts and stops operations and reports output and downtime — offline if the network is not there, and an andon board the floor reads from across the room.
Materials and labour reach the job as they are consumed
Issues post against the work order, piece-work pay reaches payroll, and the job has a cost while it is still open — rather than an estimate with a margin on top and an answer that arrives after the invoice.
The chain, end to end
Each step writes to the same records the next step reads. There is no export between them, which is why there is nothing to reconcile afterwards.
